1. Ravenholdt RPG is a pg-13 game that dips into the R. Swearing is allowed, however, it isn't a ticket to swear every other word and every other sentence.
2. Please have respect for all RP styles, as all are welcome here as long as they do not violate the game rules. Some people are novel posters, BE PATIENT!
3. Short posts are fine as long as you complete a full sentence. [Player] This is [Player] not really [Player] acceptable!
4. If an op gives you a verbal warning you are to follow it immediatly or risk getting kicked. Ops have the right to kick at any time if they feel you are not obeying the rules. If you feel like you were kicked for no reason you may at any time msg them and argue your case.
5. Other rules are pretty obvious. We allow NO powergaming or godmoding. Your characters must have a weakness and if they don't they're not going to be rp'd.
6. Some plotlines and stories call for events or happenings that might be a little crazy for the setting. We ask that any and all plotlines are submitted for approval to the ops.
7. The setting for rp is in the main city of Ravenholdt therefore there are npc guards running about. This isn't a license to play them however. Only the channel founder and ops can play npc guards.
8. You do not need to wait in line to roleplay. Roleplay as if you were in real time, and if someone tries to engage you into a conversation, only then should you have respect enough to wait for the other party to reply.
9. Do NOT force another player to do an action! Instead of saying "They looked away from her" Try: "She wished they would look away from her." If you force a character to do something, the first time will be a verbal warning, the second time a kick. After that will be decided by the ops.
10. If you leave the room, you leave the tavern. We cannot supply constant logs of the roleplay that goes on. If there is a plot, there will be a log so people can see what happened, other then that you are responsible for staying in channel or making sure your character exits when you leave the tavern so people do not get confused thinking you are still there.
